Little Secret (CZ)

A short film inspired by the recent true story of a young boy who afraid of telling his mother what really happened, blames a serious injury – caused by his own carelessness – on an attack by a group of Roma. Before the truth is revealed, the tide of events cannot prevent the dire consequences of his lie.

V.I.P. (CZ)

They’re young, ambitious and talented, and they want to be the best. A documentary about three 20-year-old Vietnamese struggling with identity and social status. Are they Czech, or still Vietnamese? Isn’t the Czech Republic too small and boring for them?

This short animated film about a little boy who longs for deep-sea adventures in a snow-covered city is a homage to Jacques Cousteau.

L.H. (CZ)

A short film about Lord Hoven (Lord of the Shit), a legend of university life. Based on the true story of an infamous university student who caused disgust and uproar by his “artwork” in a university lavatory. A police inspector will do anything to solve this seemingly trivial yet bizarre case, but the actual perpetrator remains unknown.

Mythopolis (CZ)

Director: Alexandra Hetmerová

Year: 2013 | Length: 11 min | Animation

An animated film in which creatures from Greek mythology, such as Medusa and the Minotaur, come to life. They live among us and have the same problems as we in our contemporary world have.
